We never realized how important it was to have a great, cooperative relationship with architect, builder, and designer. Joy worked wonderfully with all of us, and frequently pointed out things that all of us had overlooked! Specific I.D. drawings provided to the builder were key, and Joy's were always accurate and thorough. She was instrumental and involved in almost every step of the project; from floor plans to room elevations, door and window selections, ceiling and wainscoting plans, kitchen and bathroom design, electric plans, wine room design, light fixtures, finishes, furniture, rug and fabric selections, etc., etc., you name it. Providing her with pictures and lots of lots of questions, Joy encouraged us to be creative in our design choices, and very much listened to our tastes and goals throughout the process all the while complementing our desires with her own opinions and expertise.
